City and Municipal Planning Coordinators across Region XII convened for a two-day orientation and consultation on the PLANADOse assessment tool on 6-7 August 2024 in Koronadal City.  The activity is part of the DILG XII’s Buylog Plano Dose Program: Regional Cooperation for Good Governance (RCGG).

In a concerted drive to ensure essential government services reach every corner, Barangay Katipunan in Arakan, Cotabato witnessed a significant and collaborative effort to support its residents.

On August 1, 2024, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII, along with 20 national government agencies, converged at Barangay Katipunan to deliver crucial services through the Serbisyo Caravan, a part of the national government’s whole-of-the-nation approach to counter insurgency.

The Department of Health (DOH) Region 12 launched a two-day orientation and signup preparatory workshop on FITools, a Healthy Workplace Program. The event, which ran from August 6 to August 7, 2024, was held at the Greenleaf Hotel in General Santos City.

The workshop aimed to promote healthy workplace practices and was attended by various stakeholders, including the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 12. The DILG’s Finance and Administrative Division (FAD), specifically staff from the Personnel and Records Section, actively participated in the event.

August 2, 2024 - The Department of the Interior and Local Government Region XII and the South Cotabato Press Corps (SCPC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize their collaboration for the Tingog South Cotabato Awards.

This initiative, spearheaded by SCPC — a coalition of 18 media entities across South Cotabato — aims to honor local public officials as well as national government agencies and bureaus for their steadfast dedication to effective media relations.
