A new Provincial Tourism Center in Sarangani is rising soon!
The Provincial Government Unit of Sarangani held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Provincial Tourism Center last July 1, 2024 at the Provincial Capitol Compound, Alabel, Sarangani Province, funded under the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentives Fund (SGLG-IF) program.
The project, funded with Php 4 Million allocation under the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentives Fund (SGLG-IF) program, is set to rise in the Capitol compound.
DILG Dose, led by Regional Director Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay-Sero, witnessed the ceremonial activation of the eLGU System along with select local chief executives from Regions IX, X,XI, XII, and XIII during the eLGU Caravan for Mindanao Cluster held at Ritz Hotel, Davao City last July 11, 2024.
City and Municipal Administrators, Business Permit and Licensing Officers, Information Technology Officers, and other local functionaries also attended the caravan.
The said LGUs were recognized during an online meeting last June 21, 2024. Engr. Herminia S. Ontoy, PDMU Chief, congratulated the LGUs and encourage all others to continuously exert their best effort to comply with the Subaybayan requirements.
SubayBAYAN, or Subaybayan ang Proyektong Bayan, is the newly enhanced DILG Infrastructure Monitoring System, designed to oversee all locally funded projects managed by the department. It features geo-tagging, map integration, physical and financial monitoring graphs, comprehensive reports, and a variety of useful analytical tools.

This annual assessment is crucial in monitoring and evaluating the performance of LCPCs based on key indicators, including organizational sustainability, policies and plans for children, budget allocation for children, and service delivery monitoring and management for children.
