Continuing its mission to educate and inform, the Serye sa DOSE Gender and Development (GAD) learning session series dedicated this week’s Monday Convocation to an in-depth discussion on Breast Cancer Awareness. The goal of the session was to teach the Regional Gender and Development Committee (RGADC) XII members and DILG Dose employee’s important things about the disease, with a focus on how important it is to find it early and take steps to stop it.

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) Region XII has sought the support of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII to tackle key challenges in enforcing Republic Act 9003, the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000. EMB XII stressed the need for stricter enforcement, better waste management facilities, and stronger coordination with Local Government Units (LGUs) to ensure full compliance with the law.

A three-day Levelling Session is being held from February 17-19, 2025, at Paraiso Verde Hotel and Resort in Koronadal City to enhance the capacity of gender and development (GAD) technical assistance providers in Rehiyon Dose. The session aims to equip the eight shortlisted applicants with essential skills and knowledge for delivering effective GAD-related support in the region.
The 2025 Open Government Partnership (OGP) Asia and the Pacific Regional Meeting convened government officials, civil society leaders, and policymakers from across the region, alongside global and regional partners, to exchange best practices and discuss the progress of open government initiatives. Held from February 5-7, 2025, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, the event provided a dynamic platform to foster dialogue on key governance issues.
