DILG DOSE STRENGTHENS DISASTER PREPAREDNESS THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN THE CY 2025 1ST QUARTER NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL (NSED)
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII demonstrated its commitment to disaster preparedness by actively participating in the CY 2025 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), led by Regional Director, Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay-Sero, CESE. The drill, aimed at enhancing the agency's readiness to respond to earthquakes, which involved all personnel in a comprehensive, hands-on exercise.

March 17, 2025: In celebration of the National Women’s Month, the Regional Gender and Development Committee (RGADC) XII, together with DILG XII, conducted a Serye sa Dose GAD Learning Session on Fire Safety and Prevention at the DILG XII Conference Room, Prime Regional Center, City of Koronadal, South Cotabato. The initiative aimed to equip gender advocates with the necessary knowledge and skills to prevent fire-related incidents and respond effectively to emergencies.

The Regional Development Council (RDC) XII convened its First (1st) Quarter Meeting for Calendar Year (CY) 2025 on March 12, 2025, at NEDA XII Conference Hall, Prime Regional Center, City of Koronadal, South Cotabato, to discuss key regional development initiatives, policy directions, and sectoral and affiliate committee reports. The Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) XII—Disaster Preparedness Committee convened its 1st Quarter Meeting for CY 2025 on March 11, 2025, at the DILG XII Regional Office in Koronadal City. Eighteen member agencies attended the meeting and discussed the region's commitment to strengthening disaster preparedness efforts.
