Two months after the successful launch of the National GAD Seal Certification Program on March 22 at Greenleaf Hotel in General Santos City, DILG Rehiyon Dose has once again given recognition and fitting honors to the select LGUs and NGAs for the Second Batch of the Gender and Development (GAD) Seal Awarding Ceremony 2023 for Region XII.
Six (6) local government operations officer (LGOO) trainees from DILG Rehiyon Dose are going through some serious ‘sifting and shaping,’ for almost four (4) months now, for the apprenticeship program for LGOO II and III in New Clark City (NCC), Capas, Tarlac from June 4-July 9, 2023.
RD Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III, DILG Xii Regional Director, has arranged for an informal send-off for the delegates in her office prior to their training. Once the Rehiyon Dose contingent have completed the course, they will become part of Batch 55 of the LGOO Training.
South Cotabato all looked forward to the visit of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr, (concurrent DA secretary) on June 14, 2023, Wednesday as he officially presided over the launching of the South Cotabato Consolidated Rice Production and Mechanization Program. The Integrated Rice Processing Center is located in Brgy. Liwanay, Banga, South Cotabato and features a rice mill, machinery shed, silo, mechanical dryer, a motor pool and truck scale.
On June 26, 2023, the Dangerous Drugs Board is once again leading the celebration of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) to strengthen global action and cooperation in achieving a world free of drug abuse.
The IDADAIT 2023 theme - “People first: stop stigma and discrimination, strengthen prevention” - aims to raise awareness about the importance of treating people who use drugs with respect and empathy; providing evidence-based, voluntary services for all; offering alternatives to punishment; prioritizing prevention; and leading with compassion.
