The 1st Coordination Meeting for the upcoming celebration of Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) Program Anniversary Celebration convened by DILG Dose was successfully concluded January 30, 2024 at DILG Regional Office XII, City of Koronadal, South Cotabato.

Important matters which were discussed during the meeting include the overview of the BIDA Program's Anniversary Celebration, roles and responsibilities of each agency, event plans and logistics, collaboration opportunities and resource sharing, and of how to address potential challenges and contingency planning.

The activity was attended by Honorable Mayor Keo Dayle T. Tuan of T’boli, MLGOO Joel S. Molo, PDMU Chief Engr. Herminia Ontoy, PM Hayd Ali Suwaib of DILG South Cotabato, representatives of the Provincial Task Force of South Cotabato, the Municipal Task Force of T'boli, and the Punong Barangays and Secretaries of the 17 target barangays, Special Forces Battalion, BFP and PNP.  

The activity aims to orient the target LGUs about the Post-Conflict Armed Conflict Imperatives, ELCAC framework and RCSP Guidelines.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government – Support to Local Governance Program (DILG-SLGP) conducted the National Training of Trainers on Strengthening CSO Desk Officers. The event saw participation from the Regional Coordination Team and marked an essential step towards fostering collaboration and enhancing the role of CSO Desk Officers in the country. 

The opening remarks were gracefully presented by the Assistant Program Manager, Glenn Miranda. In his discourse, he emphasized the significance of the training and the need to strengthen the capacities of CSO Desk Officers. "The path to a more integrated and informed community starts here," he noted.
