The DILG XII as the Regional Poverty Reduction Action Team (RPRAT) XII Secretariat spearheaded the conduct of the 2nd Quarter RPRAT XII Meeting on Wednesday, July 21, 2016 at Villa Amor Hotel, City of Koronadal. The activity was sponsored by the DTI XII and participated in by the member agencies together with the DILG Provincial and City Directors, and the BUB Focal Persons from various Local Government Units.

Highlights of the meeting focused on the issues and problems confronting the implementation of Bottom-up-Budgeting (BuB) and the passing of RPRAT Resolutions to address the concerns brought out during the meeting. The body also identified common reasons causing the delay in the implementation, particularly those that of the infrastructure projects.

Finally, all members agreed to bench mark the best practices utilized by agencies with high implementation rate so as to fast track the implementation and achieve the project completion rate by the end of September 2016.
