LGOO II Petal Cagape of the Office of the Regional Director- Local Governance Regional Resource Center (ORD-LGRRC) bested other apprentices by finishing Top 1 in the DILG IX and DILG XII Inter-Regional Preparatory Training Program for Batch 57 and 58 LGOO Apprentices.
Meanwhile, LGOO II Abdul Hajid U. Melikon, Jr. of DILG Cotabato and LGOO II Tessa Mae G. Nograles-Macalintal of DILG Sarangani were ranked fourth and sixth, respectively. The recognition was given during the closing ceremony of their 10-Day Intensive Coaching hosted by DILG IX in Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The seven DILG XII apprentices participated in the inter-regional preparatory training for the Local Government Academy's LGOO Certification Program alongside 22 apprentices from Region IX. Prior to the face to face 10-day intensive coaching, the apprentices underwent the online foundation course training with modules focused on local governance, research, and managing learning events.
The coaching activity was held to prepare the apprentices for the LGA-facilitated exam on June 5, 2024. It included structured activities, review sessions, and team-building exercises to provide them with the knowledge and skills required for higher-level responsibilities as LGOOs.
