The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII together with the Provincial Task-Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) of Cotabato conducts an activity aligned with the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (ECLIP) today, May 27, 2024 at the Cotabato Provincial Capitol, Amas, Kidapawan City.
Together with the Joint Task Forces and Philippine National Police, DILG XII and PTF-ELCAC granted the DILG-Administered Package of Assistance to Former Rebels who choose to reintegrate into the community and with the government.
Forty-seven former rebels will receive an Immediate Assistance of Php 720,000.00, Livelihood Assistance of Php 1,500,000.00, and Reintegration Assistance of Php 1,008,000.00. Overall, a total of Php 3,228,000.00 would be provided.
Present in the activity are DILG Personnel led by OIC-Regional Director Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay-Sero, CESE together with LGOO VII Musarapha A. Alim, MPA, LGOO VII Jermie A. Erie-Yeager, and CAO Dennis T. Sucol.
Also in attendance are Hon. Ivy Martia Lei Dalumpines-Ballitoc, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Chair on Gender and Development (GAD), and Social Services, Col Apollo Jun Lamaton, Deputy Brigade Commander of the 1002nd Brigade, Col Neil Roldan, Deputy Brigade Commander of the 602nd Brigade, and Ms. Arleen A. Tiamson from Provincial Social Welfare and Social Development Office (PSWDO).
