- On August 3, 2022, the Regional and Provincial Technical Engineers conducted final inspection of the completed project under FY 2022 Financial Assistance to Local Government Unit (FALGU) in the Municipality of Sto. Niño, Province of South Cotabato. The 0.416 KM Road Concreting of Frondozo Street in Barangay Poblacion, amounting to P6 million, is the second completed project funded under FY 2022 LGSF-FALGU. This project is expected to benefit a total of 2,540 Household.
- On the same date, another team of technical engineers conducted a two-day regular project monitoring and inspection to the FY 2021 Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) ongoing projects in Columbio, Province of Sultan Kudarat. On their 1st day, the team inspected the following projects: Two units of school building in Brgy. Natividad amounting to P4.5 million, rural electrification project, one (1) unit School Building and one (1) unit health station projects in Brgy. Sucob amounting to P6 million, and one (1) unit school building and Water System Project in Sitio New Ilocos, Brgy. Poblacion amounting to P3.5 million.
- On the 2nd day, the team inspected the One (1) unit school building amounting to P1.5 million and farm-to-market road amounting to P17 million located in Barangay Polomolok, farm-to-market Road amounting to P10 million and a School Building amounting to P3 million, located in Barangay Maligaya, rural electrification project amounting to P2 million in Purok 1 and 2 in Barangay Lasak, and rural electrification project amounting to P4 million in Brgy. Datal Blao. This two-day activity concluded with an exit conference held at Provincial Engineering Office of Sultan Kudarat (PEO-SK) Conference Room last August 4, 2022. The monitoring team presented and discussed the findings and recommendations from the activity. Meanwhile, the SubayBAYAN and RSSA Focal Persons,together with the Financial Analyst and the DILG Sarangani Province Technical Engineer has provided tecnical assistance to the SubayBAYAN and RSSA Focal Person of PLGU Sarangani and CLGU General Santos from August 3-4,2022 to update and encode the lacking documents of the Provincial/City LGU on the selected Sub-projects in the SubayBAYAN Portal. In addition, the Project Evaluation Officers(PEOs) led by Engr. Herminia S. Ontoy have conducted the Orientation on the Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation (RBME) of LGU Infrastructure Projects or RLIP for the Local Governments Units of Cotabato and Sarangani Province last August 4,2022. Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa,CESO III,who joined the activity,welcomed all of the PLGU and LGU participants and challenged them to make the most out of the activity so that they will "be equipped and be oriented to the guidelines and major deliverables of the RLIP". She also said that, the RLIP is projected to run for three years and part of the program's deliverables is providing capacity building for DILG personnel, as well as the Local Project Monitoring Committee (LMPC) and other LGU personnel that are involved in the monitoring and evaluation. RD Leysa further stated that,the goal of the program is to "develop an M&E framework to address the challenges effectivley in measuring governance results under the devolved system emphasizing the results,which are the Outputs,Outcomes,and impacts of the programs and projects".
