“On May 28, every year, we celebrate the unfurling of the first Philippine National Flag in commemoration of the country’s victorious battle against the Spanish troops. 

This time, we raise our flag and salute our frontline workers who continue to fight this unseen enemy, and we remember those whose lives were lost in this pandemic. 

Let us continue to stand united in upholding our freedom and stand for the land that our ancestors have fought hard to defend.

Under our flag, we are all Filipino.
