Geo-tagging is a salient point in the Local Road Asset Management of the Provincial Local Government Unit as it provides accurate, complete, and updated maps of provincial road infrastructures and facilities under the Conditional Matching Grant to Provinces (CMGP) Program. With this in mind, the Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) conducted a Capacity Building on Basic Geo-tagging and Routeshoot Operation, Processing, and Uploading last September 3-4, 2019 at FB Hotel in the City of Koronadal which was participated in by around 20 attendees from the four provinces under Region XII.

One of the landmark laws of the Duterte Administration which gives priority to improving competitiveness and ease of doing business in the Philippines is the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 (RA 11032). This Act aims to streamline the current systems and procedures of government services.
One of the main focus of the Philippine Government at present is to end the local communist armed conflict which affected the different areas of the Country. In response to this, our government issued Executive Order No. 70 which institutionalizes the Whole-of-Nation-Approach as a government policy for the attainment of inclusive and sustainable peace. In this manner, the Government shall prioritize and harmonize the delivery of basic services and social development in conflict affected areas and vulnerable communities, facilitate social inclusivity and ensure participation of all sectors.
The Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Awards (LTIA) is one of the programs of the Department which provides motivation to all Lupons regionwide to further improve and strive for excellence in the performance of their mandated duties and responsibilities.
As such, the Department conducts a yearly evaluation on the performance of outstanding lupons regionwide. This year’s assessment, which was conducted last March 2019, resulted to the inclusion of Barangay Poblacion, Tupi, South Cotabato in the shortlist, as validated by the National Board of Judges on August 13, 2019. The said Barangay was also awarded as the1st Runner-Up in CY 2018.
On August 8-9, 2019, forty- eight (48) members (26 women and 22 men) of the Comprehensive Development Plan- Technical Assessment Committee (CDP- TAC) of four (4) Provinces attended the 2- Day Capacity Building held at FB Hotel and Convention Center, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
The DILG Provincial Directors, DILG CDP Provincial Focal Persons, Provincial Planning Development Coordinators (PPDCs), PPDO personnel, Provincial Social Welfare Development Officers (PSWDOs), Provincial Treasurers, and Provincial Budget Officers (PBO) were the participants as key members of the CDP- TAC.
