The DILG XII, through its Local Government Capacity Development Division, conducted a Training-Workshop on Climate and Disaster Risk Assessment on August 9-13 and 23-27, 2021. The five-day blended training-workshop was conducted in two batches with selected LGUs from the Region. Core Planning Team members of Norala, Sto. Niño, Palimbang, Tantangan and Lake Sebu attended the first batch while representatives of Arakan, Alabel, Banisilan and Libungan attended the second batch.

Ang Departamento ng Interyor at Pamahalaang Lokal Rehiyon Dose ( DILG XII) ay nagsagawa ng birtuwal na oryentasyon ukol sa Sustainable Development Goal – Family Actions for Children and their Environs ( SDG -FACES) na ginanap noong Agosto 9, 2021. Ito ay pinangunahan ng Local Government Capability Development Division (LGCDD) na pinamumunuan ni LGOO VI – OIC Division Chief, Jermie Erie- Yeager. Ang nasabing aktibidad ay dinaluhan ng labindalawang (12) pamahalaang lokal ( LGUs ) ng Rehiyon Dose.
DILG XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III, lauded the LGOO apprentices assigned in Sarangani Province for their outputs and exemplary performance during their 2-month Supervised Field Work (SFW) in three local government units of the said province.
The said apprentices are part of the 53rd batch of Local Government Operations Officer (LGOO) apprentices under the Local Government Academy, who arrived in the Region last June 7, 2021, from Manila for their SFW. They were assigned, by teams, in the Municipalities of Alabel, Malungon, and Malapatan.
DILG XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido – Leysa, CESO III led the formal turn-over ceremony of three (3) water projects under the SALINTUBIG Program in Brgy. Basak, Magpet, Cotabato Province on July 16, 2021.
RD Leysa, in her message, applauded the successful implementation of the said water projects through the initiative of LGU Magpet and support of the Punong Barangays and officials of the recipient barangays. “We should be happy with the projects brought by the government to you. Kung ako nakatira dito at papiliin ako, kuryente or tubig, piliin ko talaga ang tubig. Because like what Pastor said, water is life.”
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII conducted virtual “Orientation on Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence and Women Children (LCAT- VAWC)” and “Training of Gender Sensitivity, Gender Analysis, and Gender Responsive LGUs (GeRL) Assessment Tool” on July 15 and 28, 2021, respectively. With two hundred eighty (280), 216 female and 63 male, and one hundred ninety nine (199), 153 female and 43 male, GAD Focal Point Systems (GFPS) members of LGUs participated each undertakings.
