RD Josephine Cabrido- Leysa, CESO III, RGADC XII Chair, made Rehiyon Dose proud as she presents one of the innovations of DILG XII, the GAD Seal Certification Program, which has been named as "one of the Best Practices of RGADC XII" during the 3rd RGADC Summit.

Director Leysa cited the declaration of the Prime Regional Government Center as the Gender and Development Zone, as among the best practices in Region XII.

She highlighted that with the GAD Seal Assessment being in place, RGADC XII was able to establish the GAD Zone.

The GAD Seal is a groundbreaking program pioneered and championed by RGADC XII and it has already been adopted for nationwide implementation, starting with DILG regional offices.

“This practice is something that we are really proud of, as we believe that this has truly contributed to the overall Gender and Development efforts of the Government, ” the Director stated in her message.

Director Leysa also emphasized that the GAD Seal program would not be successful "without the united efforts and collaboration among the 49 member-agencies of RGADC XII."

The Summit was held from June 7-9 at Manila Prince Hotel, City of Manila and was attended by all RGADCs from all the 17 regions of the country.
