DILG XII RD Josephine Cabrido- Leysa, CESO III, RGADC XII Chairperson was awarded the Outstanding GAD Champion (Gawad AlaGad Award) during the 3rd GAD Summit at Manila Prince Hotel, Manila, organized by the Philippine Council for Women last June 8, 2023.

RGADC XII was also conferred with the GAD Technical Assistance Mechanism Award (GAD Kaagapay Award) and the GAD Recognition System Award (AlaGAD ng Pagkilala).

DILG REHIYON DOSE also copped the Outstanding Secretariat Award (GawAD Secretariat Award) during the Summit. RGAGC XII's secretariat is headed by LGCDD Chief Jermie Erie Yeager, ADC Mary Ann S. Traspe, GAD Regional Focal Person Engr. Jahleel A. Domingo, LGOO II Rudelyn V. Timogtimog and the rest of the LCDD personnel.

Pagunsan, CESO III, the undersecretary for Corporate Affairs and GPFS Executive Committee Chairperson, National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), graced the said event wirh their presence

RD Leysa has presented earlier in the day on June 8, the best practices of SOCCSKSARGEN on gender and development.

"This day has been filled with surprises, all unexpected and it has overwhelmed all of us, the SOCCKSARGEN delegation!” RD Leysa declared.
