In a significant move towards enhancing professional competence and growth, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII recently concluded an orientation on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Accreditation in collaboration with the Professional Regulation Commission XII (PRC XII).
Led by DILG XII OIC Regional Director Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay-Sero, CESE, EnP, MPACS, Engr. Mary Ann R. Traspe, Assistant Division Chief of the Local Government Capability Development Division delivered an opening message highlighting the individual responsibility of completing CPD within the context of the DILG mandate and emphasizing the increasing support in fulfilling CPD requirements for their employees personal growth and competencies.
The orientation aimed to familiarize participants with the intricacies of providing CPD and the pivotal role it plays in professional advancement. The event featured expert insights from Ronald Von D. Rivera, Chief Professional Regulations Officer, and Deanna Jezrah H. Jontillano, Professional Regulations Assistant Officer, who shared their expertise on CPD Overview, PRC XII CPD Requirements, and Understanding CPD Points.
The assembly marked the initial coordination meeting, signifying the beginning of efforts to position DILG XII as a service provider for professional growth and development in the region. The end goal is to create a conducive environment that will consistently enhance the competence of Filipino professionals, keeping them attuned to developments and advancements in their respective fields.
