The DILG Dose through the Project Monitoring and Management Unit (PDMU), joins the 2nd Batch of the Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC) XII 1st Quarter Regular Monitoring Activity on various projects implemented by various regional line agencies in Cotabato Province and Kidapawan City from February 27-29, 2024.
The Regional Focal Person along with the representatives of partner regional line agencies, joined by the Provincial Project Monitoring Committee (PPMC), monitored the following projects endorsed by the Regional Development Council (RDC) XII, viz:
- Central Mindanao Airport and Development Project;
- Construction of Bypass and Diversion Roads-Kidapawan City Circumferential Road;
- One Thousand Seven Hundred (1,700) Units of Permanent Housing intended for Earthquake affected families in Kidapawan City;
- (2) Construction of Bypass and Diversion Roads - Malapag - Tinimbacan - Banisilan - Bypass Road;
- Construction of Malitubog River Bank Protection;
- Construction of Concrete Road- Doroluman - Arakan - President Roxas - Kadilingan Road, President Roxas, Cotabato Province; and
- Construction of Missing Links/New Roads - Doroluman - Arakan - President Roxas - Kadilingan Road Package 2.
The implementation of these monitored projects is vital in attaining the goals of SOCCSKSARGEN embodied in the Regional Development Plan (RDP) 2023-2028. The RPMC XII identified bottlenecks and challenges hindering the project implementation, gathered feedback from stakeholders to enhance project effectiveness, and explored opportunities for collaboration and synergy.
The Problem-Solving Session (PSS) is scheduled for March 14, 2024, to discuss the issues, concerns, recommendations, and findings of the monitored RDC XII-endorsed projects.
