The Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System (GFPS) of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII conducted its 1st Quarter Meeting for CY2018 at Dolores Tropicana Resort, Tambler, General Santos City on April 12-13, 2018. The 2- Day activity was designed to review GAD Plan and Budget (GPB) and to come up with a strategic implementation of the program.

The Attendees were the members of Executive Committee and Technical Working Group of DILG XII GFPS composed of Finance and Admin Division (FAD) Chief, Mr. Dennis Sucol, and The Section Chiefs of FAD, Regional Legal Officer and concurrent Chief of Staff, Atty. Michelle Anne Viejo, and LGCDD OIC Chief, LGOO VI Ma. Theresa D. Bautista, together with the Program Managers and GAD Regional/ Provincial Focal persons. 

The GFPS was able to establish a standard and practical solution in addressing varied issues in reviewing the GPBs of the local government units. The activity served as a venue for the Region to evaluate the program implementation in order to achieve a timely compliance of LGU GPBs submission and endorsement for integration of GAD PPAs of respective LGU AIPs for FY 2019.
