The DILG XII through its Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) recently conducted a two-day Midyear Assessment and Planning Workshop in the Implementation of the Locally Funded Projects (LFPs) at London Beach Resort, General Santos City.

Participants were the DILG Provincial/City Directors, LFPs Provincial and City Focal Persons, Finance and Administrative Division Staff, and the PDMU personnel.

In general, the activity aims to a) assess the performance of the region and of the LGUs in terms of project implementation; and b) address the problems and bottlenecks that were encountered by the LGUs which caused delay in the implementation of LFPs.

In his message, DILG XII RD Reynaldo M. Bungubung, CESO IV thanked all attendees for their continued support in the Department’s quest to improve the living standards of the people nationwide. He further encouraged them be more active in fulfilling their mandates in order to improve the performance of the Region.  

The activity was concluded through a Planning Workshop where Provincial and City Field Offices were requested to submit their action plan regarding their targets and commitments in the implementation of the Locally Funded Projects in their respective jurisdictions.
