The DILG being the lead convener of MASA MASID, a program designed to heighten community involvement by mobilizing the support of local stakeholders, volunteers, civic organizations, faith-based organizations, and the private sectors in the fight against illegal drugs, criminality and corruption, has provided an avenue for the Province to conduct an orientation for a core group of local government functionaries who will be in charge in ensuring that the MASA MASID Teams and Volunteers can effectively and efficiently deliver the needed intervention for drug surrenderers.
