Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay-Sero, CESE, Regional Director of the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region XII (DILG Dose) actively participated as a panelist in the National Immunization Summit 2025 on November 30, 2025 at the Manila Hotel, Ermita Manila. She shared the stage as a panelist with Director Phlorita A. Ridao of NEDA XII. RD Sero and Ridao contributed to discussions on multi-stakeholder coalitions in immunization programs.

During the panel session, Director Sero underscored the crucial role of DILG in mobilizing local government support for immunization programs, particularly in the proposed establishment of the SOCCSKSARGEN Region Immunization Coalition. She emphasized that effective leadership among local chief executives (LCEs) is key to advancing immunization efforts, which is aligned with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for a concerted government approach to DOH’s National Immunization Program.

Director Sero also shared that the Region 12's initiative, the LCEs Symposium on the National Immunization Program held on September 5, 2024, at Acacia Hotel, Davao City which was spearheaded by the Department of Health - Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD) XII, in collaboration with DILG Dose and other partner agencies, served as a strategic platform to convene LCEs from identified LGUs in SOCCSKSARGEN with low immunization coverage. Through this initiative, local leaders were engaged in critical discussions on policy directions, resource mobilization, and governance strategies, ensuring their proactive role in strengthening immunization efforts within their communities.
