RPOC XII Updates: 2nd Quarter Meeting for CY 2025

The Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) XII successfully convened its 2nd Quarter Regular Meeting for Calendar Year 2025 on June 24, 2025, at The Farm @ Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City. The meeting was presided over by RPOC XII Vice Chairperson and PNP PRO 12 Regional Director, PBGEN Arnold P. Ardiente, and was attended by representatives from national government agencies, local peace and order councils, local government units, law enforcement agencies, and civil society organizations across Region XII.

In a message delivered through the RPOC XII Secretariat, RPOC XII Chairperson Hon. Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr. expressed his appreciation to all Council members and stakeholders for their unwavering support and strong commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region. He likewise commended the effective coordination among agencies that led to the peaceful and orderly conduct of the May 2025 National and Local Elections—a milestone in collaborative governance.

The Council’s agenda included updates on peace and order, insurgency, criminality, and public safety concerns, with reports from the respective SAC Chairpersons of PNP PRO XII, 6th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, and BFP XII. The Council also tackled the implementation of the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP), Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE), status of LGU-owned firearms, the ceremonial signing of the Data Sharing Agreement (DSA), and the 2025 National Crime Prevention Program. A highlight of the

meeting was the awarding of Plaques of Appreciation to:

· MGEN Donald M. Gumiran, Commander, 6th Infantry Division, Philippine Army

— in recognition of their exemplary leadership and invaluable contributions to the region’s peace and order initiatives.

RPOC XII remains steadfast in its mandate as the primary platform for inter-agency coordination on peace and order, continuously working to ensure a safe, resilient, and development-ready Region XII.
