The Planado ang Dose Program (PLANADOse) Regional Inter-Agency Validation (RIAV) Team held its first coordination meeting, bringing together representatives from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), and the National Economic and Development Agency (NEDA) on April 2, 2025 at The Farm @ Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
LGCDD Chief Maria Theresa D. Bautista, in her opening message, emphasized the importance of collaboration within the team. She underscored that revisiting and refining the program’s guidelines would ensure that the objectives set in the previous year would continue to guide and enhance this year’s goals.
HRRO VI Alberto P. Sero Jr. led a comprehensive presentation of the PLANADOse policy content and guidelines of the program, providing a framework for refining assessment criteria for Fiscal Year 2025. The team reviewed each Key Result Area (KRA) to ensure better alignment between local government unit (LGU) development goals and regional strategies.
PLANADOse aims to establish a green, inclusive, resilient, and livable SOCCSKSARGEN Region. Rooted in the Filipino vision of Ambisyon Natin 2040, which envisions a prosperous, secure, and comfortable life for all, this initiative goes beyond performance assessment and recognition. It serves as a catalyst for continuous improvement in local government planning and budgeting, spotlighting exemplary performance while ensuring that local development plans align seamlessly with national and regional priorities, as well as spatial and physical frameworks.
The meeting concluded with a closing statement from HRRO VI Sero, wherein he reinforced the urgency of adhering to the identified next steps and timelines to ensure the success of 2025’s objectives.
This collaboration represents a key milestone toward realizing sustainable regional development in the SOCCSKSARGEN region, ensuring that future initiatives are well-coordinated and leave a lasting, positive influence.
